Greet the Breeds

The Great American Dog Show is once again excited to be offering Greet TheBreeds!

Nine dedicated Greet the Breeds booths will be available each day of theshow. Time slots are available in 2-hour increments starting at 9:00am each day. Please don’t sign up for more than one slot per day. If you are interested in additional time slots, please contact us at info@ikcchicago.com and we will let you know if any extra times become available.

Greet the Breeds offers a wonderful opportunity for the general public to interact with various breeds and meet and talk with knowledgeable breeders and exhibitors. The schedule will be published in advance of the show and throughout the weekend. Please arrive to your assigned booth on time (information will be sent via email prior to the event), and inform us immediately if there are any changes in your availability.

We expect thousands of visitors to our show, like last year. Please remember that we are the face of purebred dogs, and ensure that both dogs and volunteers will be good ambassadors for your breed and for the sport.

Each booth will be 10′ x 10′, with an 8′ table and pipe and drape included.

Chicago Challenge Cup

The three shows in the January cluster will serve as the qualifying events for the $25,000 Chicago Challenge Cup (the “Challenge Cup”) sponsored by the Canine Chronicle to be held with the Chicago Dog Show on August 26, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois.

The International Kennel Club of Chicago (IKC) has announced plans for the inaugural International Open Show Extravaganza, with an unprecedented focus on Foundation Stock Service (FSS) and Miscellaneous breeds.

Dock Diving

This is a qualifier for the NADD Regionals! Enter the 2023 North American Dock Diving (NADD) at the Great American Dog Show.

Canine Cruise Chicago

Join the American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog for a festive night on board the Spirit of Chicago.as we enjoy cocktails, a buffet-style dinner, silent auction, and dancing while admiring the Chicago skyline from the waters of Lake Michigan.
